Cary used to fly to Greensboro, NC often and he just reminded me that often the airfare is cheaper leaving out of Gulfport plus those flights generally stop over in Atlanta. If you must get delayed at least Atlanta offers more services. Any time we can help by picking Alex up and getting him home if they're on the same flight, we'd be delighted to do that.

   Brenda,
   We didn't go past security but both of them set off the metal detectors. Took them about 20 minutes to pass security while their gear was left unattended. They had to take off belts and jackets. Meanwhile two women in headdresses went through and some guy that looked like a ganster. I was getting more perturbed by the minute. Taylor's checked bags got lost. He said he wasn't the only Marine that it happened to but he wasn't sure if Alex was among them. You've probably already talked to Alex. Did he tell you they get 11 days off for Christmas? I had read that they couldn't go further than 500 miles but surely that doesn't apply for an 11 day leave. Taylor was going to try and find out so we could go ahead and get his ticket.
   I can't get over the fact that they don't go out of their way to get these service men and women on their way quickly. Maybe it's only NO, but I doubt it. Alex and Taylor seemed not too concerned so that's good.
   I'll send my email if this doesn't post on the board for all to see. Keep in touch. It was great to meet you if only shortly. Charly
